Monetizing your Blog – Earn money blogging

Earning money with your blog is about getting traffic and visitors to your site – and convert your visitors into buying customers. No matter what your site is about, earning a little money wouldn’t hurt, right?
… and Traffic and visitors is exactly what you need to earn money with any website.
There are countless methods to earn money with your website and to get people to buy quality products, services or membership services with monthly fees, directly from your site of via ads on your site either your own ads and banners promoting your own products or other peoples products or from ads, text or banners or posts paid to you for having the ads on your site.

Once you get traffic and visitors to your site it’s the content of your site and clickthrue rate and conversion rate of your ads that determine how good your blog is to utillize that traffic for earning money.

Do not promote things you wouldn’t buy yourself or things You don’t find of any value. It’s not only about money it’s about being honest to your visitors and to yourself, that’s very important.

How to get traffic to your blog

The key to Your success to earning money with Your blog is to drive traffic to your site and converting that traffic to earnings.
Obviously Your site should have good quality content and offer good products related to your content.

There are numerous ways to get traffic to your site. Traffic comes in Free Traffic and Paid traffic. Free traffic is obviously what you want. Free traffic from search engines is the most valuable, but paid traffic with Google adwords, Yahoo and Facebook ads could be profitable however beware of Google adwords. Google does’t like poor sites with little valuable content and created only to sell products.
If your site fall in this category, dont do google advertizing you will get hit by the Google wall

and Google slapping like 10s-of thousands others who has got their google account terminated. Stay with Yahoo and Facebook which are much more friendly against affiliates.

To get free traffic from search engines your site needs to have good quality, unique content and quality backlinks (links from other sites pointing to your site). Links from so-called “linkfarms” and “directories” are not quality links.

Getting high search engine ranking is always for a specific keyword. It’s very easy to get high ranking for a rare keyword that only has few searches a month but the more competition a keyword phrase has the more difficult is it to rank high for that specific keyword.
